Scan Date

 Micah's next scan is coming up. It is next Tuesday, April 12. On that day, he will also have a heart test. With all the chemo he has had, there is always the possibility that it could have damaged his heart. But realistically, if that were to happen, it  most likely wouldn't show up for 20 or 30 years.

Since Micah had an XRAY of his chest last week and it was clear, we are breathing a little easier in regards to his scan. But for some reason, I just can't assume that it will be clear. I wonder if the CT is more detailed? Is there a possibility for something small to be there that the XRAY didn't pick up?  I don't know......

I have noticed in the last days that Micah looks AMAZING. His color is beautiful. He is truly the boy I knew when he was five. It makes me so thankful. I am concerned about his breathing though. At times it is more labored that it has ever been. I am not sure why that would be. We will have to look into it.

We would appreciate your prayers. Would you please pray that our little family will trust God and will rest in that fact that regardless of what happens, His way his perfect. Please pray that Micah will stay healthy and that God will let us keep him for a very long time. What a blessing that would be.
