8 Months, 13 Days
This is what my girl looks like just after she gets up from her afternoon nap. She gets her Bunny Lunny usually only in bed and it's the only time she sucks her fingers. Without her Bunny, she doesn't see the point of sucking her fingers. Without sucking her fingers she won't sleep. So you see, fingers, Bunny Lunny and sleep go together. So we better never loose Bunny Lunny!
My baby girl is now 8 months and 13 days. I have given up trying to do this on the day of the month birthday.
She is starting to move all over the place. She can do everything except actually crawl forward. She even is rocking on her hands and knees! It won't be long.
She has started eating lots of food. She loves rice and cauliflower and I don't even have to mash it. She loves cantelope and peaches. She likes pablum and still drinks 4 bottles a day.
It is rare for her not to be smiling. She has been playing a little strange lately. But if you are the stranger to pick her up and she starts crying, as soon as you give her back to one of us, you are guarenteed to get a smile.
My little girl really isn't that much of a baby anymore. She has been in a big girl carseat already for about 2 months. She is starting to make sounds that are almost like words. I believe she may be hitting 20 lbs by now. She is not light.
She laughs and screams so hard when Josh comes back from somewhere. She luuuuvs him so much. I can't wait to see what their relationship will be like in 5 years when she is almost 6 and he is 18. She melts all of us including our little teenager.
Gracie girl, if you are reading this when you are bigger: You are such a special part of our family. I can't imagine this life without you. We thank God everyday for you. You have brought our little family so much joy. Even on days when we have tears, you are the only little person in this world, who can make us smile in a moment when we are feeling pain. These words I just wrote really do not adequately explain what I am trying to say. I just can't find the words. We love you girl!

Sweet girl! We have the same system with Katie; she has a puppy she only gets when she goes to bed and she only sucks her thumb when she has it! So nice!
