In Christ Alone our Hope is Found

Can you please pray for my kids, especially Josh and Micah? They are really hurting. Josh doesn't show it  much, and Micah doesn't share either, but Micah's red rimmed eyes are very telling..  This is so hard for them. They are experiencing lots of last things. Tonight is Micah's last baseball game. Josh had his last sleep over with the kids from our homeschooling group last night. They threw a big good bye party for him. It is a great group of kids that Josh will really miss. Nad is sad that her good friend Mia is on holidays, so she couldn't have one more sleep over. I told her that Mel and the girls will come for a giant sleep over after we have moved. Yes Mel? Siah announced he is "act-u-ally excited to move". His cousin and good friend Keagan is coming over on Thursday. He got to play with Trent on Sunday. So he is all good. I was prepared to explain that Keagan and Trent will come to visit just like Mia will and we will come here to visit ...

Our Natalie Maria has a birthday today. She is 8. I can't believe I have such a big girl. She is a great mix of girlie girl and tomboy. She loves to play with dolls and likes jewelery just as much as she likes to play baseball. This girl can hit like the rest of them. It is so fun to watch. Looking at her pictures as I scanned them in, I really see that she looks different than the rest as a baby. Her eye shape is like no one else. Interesting! (O: Grace and Nads don't look anything a like! I could have picked a trillian pictures. But I kept it short and sweet! She is kind and loving. She works so hard in school, even when things are are a challenge. Her and Micah have always been super close. When Micah was sick for the first time she was almost 4 and then again when she was almost 6. I have always wondered if those experiences have shaped her at all and how much she really understood. Naddie got her hair cut. My girl is getting so big. (o: Don't look at her dirty, backwards shirt! Speaking of shirts... Do any of your kids wear their shirts backwards and at times inside out and backwards and don't even care? Do they ever grab two different socks that are different in style and color and just put them on? Mine do and I think they are kind of weird. (o

I know I say this all the time and that I probably enjoy my own pics 1000 times more than every else...But I love this one. Natalie is letting go of her helium balloon. Look at the tension in her neck. I remember that feeling! You wonder even as you let go, if you really want to part with it. (o: We watched it go for a really long time. I have 3 pics below where we could still see it. I took one more, but I couldn't see it on the picture it was too small! (o: It is almost in the very center of the picture in the cloud. I thought this was a neat one. I love hot air balloons, but you couldn't pay me to go in one. I am sure my balloon would be the one to hit a hydro line! (O:

I really do not like snow. I don't like wearing coats. I tried the other day to be/appear normal and wear a coat, even though it was making me very miserable and it slowed me down during my groceries. I should have taken it off, but my cart was very full of groceries and kids. Ahh the wonderful No Frills dollar sale! I met my sister in law in the grocery store and she told me I looked weird wearing a coat. That is how rarely I wear one. But I guess winter is kind of pretty from inside the house and if we didn't get snow, I couldn't take pretty pictures like this! (o:

I found this picture as I was looking for pictures of Micah on his past birthdays. I had to document this one, just in case I never get my act together and make a digital scrapbook. Nads was almost 4 here - February 2008. What a little lady! I couldn't decide which one I like better. I like the black and white because it gives the picture a beautiful look and cleans up her face. But I also like the color one because it shows her dirty face and her pink cheeks.
